Vitabona Ltd is a UK company formed in 2019, our goal is to assist wellness by developing and bringing to market responsibly sourced health and wellbeing products.

Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life. It has been defined as "...a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."

WHY WELLNESS MATTERS

Maintaining an optimal level of wellness is absolutely crucial to live a higher quality life. Wellness matters. Wellness matters because everything we do and every emotion we feel relates to our well-being. In turn, our well-being directly affects our actions and emotions. It’s an ongoing circle. Therefore, it is important for everyone to achieve optimal wellness in order to subdue stress, reduce the risk of illness and ensure positive interactions.  

 

Evidence suggests there are 5 steps we can all take to improve our mental wellbeing.

 

Connect – connect with the people around you: your family, friends, colleagues and neighbours. Spend time developing these relationships.

Be active – you don't have to go to the gym. Take a walk, go cycling or play a game of football. Find an activity that you enjoy and make it a part of your life.

Keep learning – learning new skills can give you a sense of achievement and a new confidence.

Give to others – even the smallest act can count, whether it's a smile, a thank you or a kind word. Larger acts, such as volunteering at your local community centre, can improve your mental wellbeing and help you build new social networks.

Be mindful – be more aware of the present moment, including your thoughts and feelings, your body and the world around you. Some people call this awareness "mindfulness". It can positively change the way you feel about life and how you approach challenges.
